To be transparent about our policies, we’ve put together this set of guidelines.
In short: If you don't have anything nice to say to other maplers, don't say it at all.
Please refrain from using any terms that may be offensive to others or otherwise put someone down for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex or sexual orientation, gender identity, or disabilities.
In short: If you didn't receive permission to share content or specific information, don't post it.
Don't publish another individual's personal information or content without their consent otherwise you'll have to consent to account restrictions or deletion.
In short: Don't claim to be another person, group, or guild you're not.
If we deem an account is being used to mislead or confuse other maplers, we may change names, usernames, or enforce account restrictions if deemed necessary.
While we are not affiliated with Nexon, any individuals who we have personally confirmed to be an official Nexon representative or MapleStory Team member will have an associated badge on their profile.
As always, it is good to practice good account safety and only discuss account or game related concerns via Nexon's official support desk.
Please note: these are just guidelines — interpretations are up to us. These guidelines are not exhaustive and are subject to change.
If you believe a member has violated our Terms of Service, or any of these guidelines, please report it to us. We review and investigate all reports that we receive, but if and how we respond will depend on a variety of factors, such as the information available to us and the type of violation.
